This Animation on Peripheral Artery disease (PAD) and Angiogenesis was made for the CBID (Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design) team at the Johns Hopkins Biomedical Engineering. Each team of graduate students pitched a specific biomedical solution to a problem they identified. I consulted with the Vascular team consisting of team members: Mitchell Lipke, Jay Tailor, Lindsay Lamberti, Santiago Sánchez Rentería, and Selena Shirkin. They focused on designing a solution for PAD using Angiogenesis, a process where new blood vessels are built with the release of VEGF.
